They are native to Western North America, Canada, North America, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, The Contiguous United States, Greenland, and Alaska. Flowers are visited by Tricolored Bumble Bee, small white, Clark's Andrena, and Honey bee. Individuals can grow to 2.53 m.
