Suncus murinus (Asian House Shrew) is a species of mammals in the family shrews. It is native to Japan, Bhutan, Afghanistan, India, Sri Lanka, Southeast Asia, China, Myanmar, Pakistan, Taiwan, and Nepal. It is a solitary invertivore. Individuals are known to live for 30 months and can grow to 86.7 g. Reproduction is dioecious.
