Hibiscus (Rosemallow) is a genus of tree in the family mallows. They are native to U.S. Virgin Islands, Hawaii, The Contiguous United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, and Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii. They have capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Cloudless Sulphur, Monarch, Zonalictus, and White Angled-Sulphur. Individuals can grow to 4.7 m.
