Spirula spirula (Little Post Horn Squid) is a species of cephalopods in the family Spirulidae. They are native to New Zealand Exclusive Economic Zone, Indian Ocean, Pacific Ocean, and Atlantic Ocean. Dead Little Post Horn Squid form shallow marine sediments. They are nocturnal carnivores. Individuals can grow to 6 cm. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on swimming to move around.
