In Panama this species was collected from southeast of Punta Mala (USNM 34444 & USNM 34445; Centroid Latitude: 7.5611, Centroid Longitude: -79.7222) Azuero Peninsula, eastern Pacific, by the R. V. Albatross, from a depth of 280 m.
