Charadrius dubius (Little Ringed Plover) is a species of birds in the family Charadriidae. It is associated with freshwater habitat. It is found in the Afrotropics, Australasia, the Palearctic, the Indo-Malayan Realm, and Oceania (Australia and islands). Little Ringed Plover is a diurnal invertivore. Individuals can grow to 48.3 g. Reproduction is dioecious. Little Ringed Plover has parental care (occasionally breeds cooperatively). It relies on flight to move around.
