Acridotheres tristis (Calcutta Myna) is a species of birds in the family starlings. They are native to Thailand, Sri Lanka, Iran, Bangladesh, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Asia, Lebanon, Vietnam, Nepal, China, Malaysia, Bhutan, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Afghanistan, Southeast Asia, Egypt, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, India, and Pakistan. They visit flowers of New Zealand flax. They are diurnal omnivores. They have parental care (pair provides care, female provides care, and paternal care). They rely on flight to move around.
