Quiscalus mexicanus (Great Tailed Grackle) is a species of birds in the family New World blackbirds. It is associated with freshwater habitat. It is found in the Neotropics and the Nearctic. Great Tailed Grackle is a diurnal omnivore. Individuals can grow to 253 g. Reproduction is dioecious. Great Tailed Grackle has parental care (only female provides care). It relies on flight to move around.
