Phalacrocorax carbo (Great Cormorant) is a species of birds in the family cormorants. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Ethiopia, Australia, the Palearctic, Asia, and The Nearctic. They are diurnal carnivores. Individuals can grow to 160 cm. They have parental care (pair provides care, female provides care, and paternal care). They rely on flight and swimming to move around.
