Diaphus drachmanni és una espècie de peix de la família dels mictòfids i de l'ordre dels mictofiformes.

Hàbitat

És un peix marí i d'aigües profundes que viu a partir dels 300 m de fondària.^[3][4]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba a l'est de l'Oceà Índic.^[3][5][6]

Diaphus drachmanni, the Drachmann's lanternfish, is a species of lanternfish found in the eastern Indian Ocean.^[1][2]

Etymology

The fish is named in honor of Danish classical philologist Anders Bjørn Drachmann (1860-1935), the president of the Carlsberg Foundation, which financed the Dana expedition that collected the type specimen.^[3]

Diaphus drachmanni is een straalvinnige vissensoort uit de familie van lantaarnvissen (Myctophidae).^[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1932 door Tåning.

德氏眶灯鱼（学名：Diaphus drachmanni）为輻鰭魚綱燈籠魚目灯笼鱼科的其中一種，分布於東印度洋海域，屬深海魚類，棲息深度可達300公尺。
