Baccharis pilularis (Chaparral Broom) is a species of shrub in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Western North America, United States, The Contiguous United States, and The Americas. They have simple, broad leaves and white flowers. Flowers are visited by Phyciodes mylitta, Junonia grisea, Western Yellowjacket, and Icaricia acmon. Individuals can grow to 10 feet.
