Polygala sanguinea (Blood Milkwort) is a species of annual herb in the family Polygalaceae. They are native to The Contiguous United States and Canada. They have samaras. Flowers are visited by Perilampus platigaster, Eastern Calligrapher Fly, Mordellistena aspersa, and Wheat Stem Maggot.
