Guarea guidonia (American Muskwood) is a species of tree in the family Meliaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Distrito Federal, Cerrado, Mata Atlântica, Amazônia, Pará, Acre (Brazil), Rio Grande Do Sul, ParaíBa, Rio De Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Piauí, Amapá, Rio Grande Do Norte, Mato Grosso, Tocantins, Espirito Santo, Caatinga, Puerto Rico, Santa Catarina, GoiáS, Paraná, Maranhao, SãO Paulo, RondôNia, Roraima, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Ceará, Pernambuco, Alagoas, U.S. Virgin Islands, Sergipe, and Bahia. They have compound, broad leaves, white flowers, and capsule fruit. Individuals can grow to 16 m.
