Myrsine guianensis is a species of tree in the family Primulaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Amazônia, Roraima, Amapá, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Paraná, Alagoas, Sergipe, Rio De Janeiro, ParaíBa, GoiáS, Bahia, Cerrado, Distrito Federal, Mata Atlântica, Espirito Santo, SãO Paulo, Caatinga, Pernambuco, Santa Catarina, Pará, Minas Gerais, Ceará, Rio Grande Do Sul, and Rio Grande Do Norte. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 9.6 m.
