They are native to ParaíBa, Distrito Federal, Minas Gerais, Alagoas, GoiáS, Bahia, Rio Grande Do Norte, Mato Grosso, Pará, SãO Paulo, Pernambuco, Caatinga, Paraná, Amazônia, Rio Grande Do Sul, Cerrado, Espirito Santo, Santa Catarina, Rio De Janeiro, and Mata Atlântica. They have achenes.
