Cyperus squarrosus (Bearded Flatsedge) is a species of annual herb in the family sedges. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Pernambuco, Ceará, Caatinga, U.S. Virgin Islands, AmazôNia, Sergipe, Alagoas, The Contiguous United States, North America, Roraima, Canada, ParaíBa, Rio Grande Do Norte, and Bahia. They have simple, broad leaves.
