Cyperus squarrosus (Bearded Flatsedge) is a species of annual herb in the family sedges. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Rio Grande Do Norte, The Contiguous United States, Alagoas, Amazônia, ParaíBa, Pernambuco, U.S. Virgin Islands, Ceará, North America, Caatinga, Bahia, Roraima, Canada, and Sergipe. They have simple, broad leaves.
