Uredinia hypophyllous, scattered or in small open groups on conspicuous yellow spots, 0.5 mm. across, tardily naked, reddish orange-yellow fading to pale r yellow, becoming pulverulent; urediniospores broadly oval, or globoid, 20-27 by 26-30 fi; wall thick, 3-5 fi, densely verrucose with slender cylindrical tubercles.
