Samolus valerandi (Seaside Brookweed) is a species of perennial herb in the family Primulaceae. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is associated with freshwater habitat. Seaside Brookweed is native to the contiguous United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, Rio Grande do Sul, Mata Atlântica, and Santa Catarina. It has simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Prosopis Fabricius 1804. Seaside Brookweed is a photoautotroph. Individuals can grow to 0.2 m.
