Laennecia sophiifolia (Leafy Horseweed) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and The Neotropics. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Individuals can grow to 0.54 m.
