Centratherum punctatum (Larkdaisy) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Cerrado, ParaíBa, Amapá, Pará, Mato Grosso, Acre (Brazil), Bahia, Rio Grande Do Sul, Paraná, Rio Grande Do Norte, Roraima, Sergipe, Alagoas, Pantanal, Caatinga, Pampa, Minas Gerais, RondôNia, Espirito Santo, Tocantins, SãO Paulo, Amazônia, Ceará, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Mata Atlântica, Pernambuco, Piauí, GoiáS, Rio De Janeiro, Distrito Federal, Santa Catarina, and Maranhao. They have broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Long-windged Skipper, Beet webworm moth, Southern Carpenter Bee, and Hylephila phylaeus. Individuals can grow to 8 dm.
