II. Uredinia hypophyllous, irregularly scattered, 0.5 mm. or»less across, soon naked, yellow fading to white, ruptured epidermis somewhat conspicuous ; urediniospores irregularly ellipsoid, 16-22 by 24-30/*; wall rather thin, 2^, closely and strongly verrucose, with uniform papillae.
