Ciliate, 20-40 x 10-20 microns, dumbbell-shaped. Macronucleus spherical in the rear half of body. 1 spherical micronucleus. Contractile vacuole in posterior part. With a central belt of 21-22 longitudinal ciliary rows. With a long caudal cilium. Oral apparatus in body center, very small. 1 longitudinal membranelle and on the left of 1-2 adoral membranelles. Movement restless - a jerky dancing.
