Hieracium (Hawkweed) is a genus of herb in the family Asteraceae. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, Alaska, and Greenland. They have achenes. Flowers are visited by Notodonta ziczac, meadow brown, Gymnomerus laevipes, and two-banded wasp hoverfly.
