Taraxacum officinale (Common Dandelion) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Greenland, Canada, and Alaska. They have yellow flowers and achenes. Flowers are visited by Colorado Agapostemon, Callophrys, Eristalis dimidiata, and Dialictus. Individuals can grow to 0.5 feet.
