Gisekia africana (Ostrich Herb) is a species of herb in the family Gisekiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Meliturgula rozeni, Meliturgula flavida, and Sphecodopsis minutissima.
