Iris germanica (German Iris) is a species of perennial herb in the family Iridaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by White-lined Sphinx, Xylocopa virginica virginica, (page not found), and Syrphid fly. Individuals can grow to 0.47 m.
