Iris germanica (German Iris) is a species of perennial herb in the family Iridaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Xylocopa virginica virginica, Xylocopa sonorina, White-lined Sphinx, and Syrphid fly. Individuals can grow to 0.47 m.
