Amomyrtus meli is a species of tree in the family myrtles. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to South America. They have simple, broad leaves and berries. Flowers are visited by Rhopalomerus tenuirostris, Honey bee, Bombus dahlbomii, and Cadeguala albopilosa. Individuals can grow to 21 m.
