Polygala ohlendorfiana Eckl. & Zeyh.

Perennial herb with annual prostrate or sprawling stems up to 20 cm long, growing from a woody rootstock. Leaves ovate to almost round, 5-15 mm long, sometimes slightly cordate at the base, hairy, particularly on the margin and midrib. Flowers in few-flowered terminal racemes, purple or pink, sometimes streaked with yellow. Capsule c. 4.5 × 4 mm, almost round, slightly winged.

S Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique and South Africa as far as the Eastern Cape.
