Veronica peregrina (American Speedwell) is a species of annual herb in the family Plantaginaceae. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Canada, Puerto Rico, The Contiguous United States, and China. Flowers are visited by False Sunflower Cuckoo Nomad Bee, Common Sootywing, Ruby-throated Hummingbird, and Little Ebony Bug.
