Veronica peregrina (American Speedwell) is a species of annual herb in the family Plantaginaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Canada, Puerto Rico, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, simple leaves. Flowers are visited by Common Sootywing, Ruby-throated hummingbird, Oscinis, and Mordellistena aspersa. Individuals can grow to 0.12 m.
