Veronica peregrina (Neckweed) is a species of annual herb in the family Plantaginaceae. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is associated with freshwater habitat. Neckweed is native to Canada, Puerto Rico, and the contiguous United States. It has simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Oscinis Latreille 1804. Neckweed is a photoautotroph. Individuals can grow to 0.12 m.
