Veronica americana (American Speedwell) is a species of perennial herb in the family Plantaginaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, and Alaska. They have simple, broad leaves and blue flowers. Flowers are visited by checkered white, Common Checkered Skipper, and Tawny-edged Skipper. Individuals can grow to 0.8 feet.
