Catalpa bignonioides (Southern Catalpa) is a species of tree in the family bignonias. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Eastern North America and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and white flowers. Flowers are visited by bees & apoid Wasps and Pipevine Swallowtail. Individuals can grow to 66 feet.
