Linum catharticum (Purging Flax, Fairy Flax) is a species of annual herb in the family Linaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Melanostoma mellinum, (page not found), Marmalade hoverfly, and Sphaerophoria scripta. Individuals can grow to 0.13 m.
