Ximenia americana (Hog Plum) is a species of tree in the family Olacaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Eastern North America, Puerto Rico, Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, and U.S. Virgin Islands. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Coelioxys germana, Melissodes communis, Megachile mendica, and European honey bee. Individuals can grow to 5 m.
