Persicaria virginiana (Jumpseed) is a species of annual herb in the family Polygonaceae. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, North America, and South America. They have achenes. Flowers are visited by Eastern Calligrapher Fly, Aerial yellowjacket, Widow Yellowjacket, and Dusky-winged Hover Fly.
