Cosmos (Cosmos) is a genus of herb in the family Asteraceae. They are native to U.S. Virgin Islands, The Contiguous United States, Puerto Rico, and The Neotropics. Flowers are visited by Paragapostemon coelestinus, wool-carder bee, Yellow Bumblebee, and Black Swallowtail. Individuals can grow to 2.4 m.
