Handroanthus serratifolius (Yellow Poui) is a species of tree in the family bignonias. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is native to Rio Grande do Norte, Distrito Federal, Caatinga, Mato Grosso, Paraná, Mata Atlântica, Rio de Janeiro, Maranhao, Amazônia, Acre (Brazil), Mato Grosso do Sul, Tocantins, Espirito Santo, Amazônia, Minas Gerais, Pará, Piauí, Roraima, Pernambuco, Rondônia, Bahia, São Paulo, Pantanal, Ceará, Paraíba, Cerrado, Sergipe, Goiás, Amapá, and Alagoas. Yellow Poui has compound, broad leaves. It is a photoautotroph. Individuals can grow to 6.9 m.
