Asplenium formosum (Showy Spleenwort) is a species of perennial herb in the family spleenworts. They are native to Cerrado, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Ceará, Rio Grande Do Sul, Amazônia, Minas Gerais, Distrito Federal, Puerto Rico, Santa Catarina, Pará, Mato Grosso, SãO Paulo, GoiáS, Mata Atlântica, Pernambuco, Rio De Janeiro, and Alagoas. They have alternation of generations.
