Chromolaena laevigata is a species of shrub in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Mato Grosso Do Sul, Paraná, Amazônia, Bahia, Distrito Federal, GoiáS, Mata Atlântica, Ceará, Rio Grande Do Sul, Cerrado, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso, Piauí, Pampa, SãO Paulo, Roraima, Espirito Santo, Santa Catarina, Rio De Janeiro, Acre (Brazil), and Caatinga. They have broad leaves and achenes.
