Myrocarpus frondosus is a species of tree in the family legumes. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Rio Grande Do Sul, SãO Paulo, Rio De Janeiro, Espirito Santo, Santa Catarina, Bahia, Minas Gerais, Paraná, and Mata Atlântica. They have compound, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 10 m.
