Uredinia hypophyllous, subepidermal, scattered, minute, round, 0.1-0.2 mm across, soon naked, pulverulent, pale cinnamon-brown, ruptured epidermis inconspicuous ; paraphyses abundant, peripheral, clavate or capitate, 13-23 /i broad above, about 50 /* long, wall smooth, thin, colorless; urediniospores broadly obovate or globoid, 19-26 by 25-29/*, wall golden-yellow, thick, 3-4/*, sparsely and sharply echinulate, pores 3 (?), equatorial.
