Asclepias (Asclepias) is a genus of shrub in the family Apocynaceae. They are native to Puerto Rico, Canada, US Minor Outlying Islands, U.S. Virgin Islands, and The Contiguous United States. Flowers are visited by Gorgone Checkerspot, Hylephila phyleus, Great Spangled Fritillary, and Bumble-bee-mimic Anthophora.
