They are native to Cambodia, Kenya, Benin, India, Burkina Faso, Democratic Republic Of The Congo, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Seychelles, Chad, Zambia, Tanzania, Maldives, China, Bangladesh, Japan, Vietnam, Gabon, Nepal, Indonesia, Liberia, Sudan, Côte d’Ivoire, Saudi Arabia, Laos, Gambia, Brunei, Cameroon, Somalia, Yemen, Taiwan, Lebanon, Central African Republic, Thailand, Australia, Malaysia, Niger, Nigeria, United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Egypt, Myanmar, The Philippines, Oman, and Senegal. They are diurnal.
