Macrothele taiwanensis est une espèce d'araignées mygalomorphes de la famille des Macrothelidae^[1].

Distribution

Cette espèce est endémique de Taïwan^[1].

Description

Le mâle mesure 9,4 mm et la femelle 16,7 mm^[2].

Étymologie

Son nom d'espèce, composé de taiwan et du suffixe latin -ensis, « qui vit dans, qui habite », lui a été donné en référence au lieu de sa découverte.
