Morfologia

Hypostomus angipinnatus^[1] is a species of catfish in the family Loricariidae. It is native to South America, where it occurs in the Río de La Plata drainage basin, as well as possibly the Paraguay River basin, although further investigation has found its presence in the Paraguay basin unlikely.^[2] The species reaches 15 cm (5.9 inches) in length and is believed to be a facultative air-breather.^[3]

Hypostomus angipinnatus is een straalvinnige vissensoort uit de familie van de harnasmeervallen (Loricariidae).^[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1922 door Leege.

扇鰭下口鯰，為輻鰭魚綱鯰形目甲鯰科的其中一種，為熱帶淡水魚，分布於南美洲拉普拉他河流域，體長可達15公分，棲息在底層水域，生活習性不明。
