Jatropha dioica (Leatherstem) is a species of shrub in the family Euphorbiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and North America. They have simple, broad leaves and loculicidal capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Reakirt's Blue, Salt Marsh Moth, Autochton potrillo potrillo, and Marine Blue.
