Symphyotrichum laeve (Smooth Blue Aster) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. Flowers are visited by Woodland Skipper, European honey bee, Common sulphur, and Stelis. Individuals can grow to 1.2 m.
