Choromytilus chorus (Molina 1782)

Choromytilus chorus (Choro) is a species of mussels in the family Mytilidae. They are associated with freshwater habitat. Adult Choro form marine reefs. Dead Choro form shallow marine sediments. Individuals can grow to 651 mm. They have sexual reproduction. They are sessile animals.
