Ceratioidei (Pelagic Anglerfishes) is a suborder of ray-finned fishes. There are 167 species of Pelagic Anglerfishes, in 35 genera and 11 families. This suborder has been around since the miocene epoch. It includes groups like Leftvents, Wonderfishes, and Horned Lantern Fish. They are carnivores. They have sexual reproduction.
