Description: Adults overall purplish brown, caudal peduncle pale (Ref. 90102), and have a yellow and black band along pectoral fin base. Juveniles are light pinkish brown (Ref. 48636). Adult and juvenile soft dorsal fin with ocellus. Body depth 1.9-2.0 in SL (Ref. 90102).
