Eggs are hemispherical and covered with numerous sticky threads that anchor them in the algae on the nesting sites (Ref. 240). 體形小,圓柱狀。上頜向後延伸至瞳孔中央下方;上下頜齒細而密,外列齒大,向後彎區;鋤骨齒呈倒 V形排列;腭骨具齒。眼眶上緣無皮瓣;鼻瓣膜小呈葉狀,不具鋸齒緣;後鼻孔約為前鼻孔的 1.4倍。頤部感覺孔 3+2+3。頭、頸、胸鰭基與腹部無鱗,其餘皆被櫛鱗;全部背鰭與臀鰭基皆具鱗;腹部後緣無圓鱗;體鱗小,側線上鱗列約10;側線連續,側線鱗皆為孔鱗,從胸鰭基上方起,向下降至體中線處後直走,側線末端位於第二背鰭最後一棘下方。胸鰭末端達第15側線鱗。D. III+XIII-XIV+10; A. I+21; P. ii-iii+5-7+vi-vii; L.l. 18-19;Vert.11-12+27-28。體白色;體側具二條紅色寬縱帶,縱帶延伸至頭部,二條縱帶的上、下及中間共具三條白色至銀白色的細縱線,保存標本的此縱線為黑色;中間紅色縱帶具 5-7個白點,保存標本的此白點亦為黑色。

The tropical striped triplefin (Helcogramma striata), also called the striped threefin or neon triplefin, is a species of triplefin blenny that is native to the central Indo-Pacific.

Description

The tropical striped triplefin is a small fish that can reach a maximum length of 4 cm.[2][3] The body is thin, more or less cylindrical section and relatively elongated, its mouth is terminal.

The ventral side of this fish is whitish. The rest of its body is red with white stripes running the length of its body and it has also white spots between the eyes.

The fins are translucent. its eyes are relatively large and the iris is orange.

Distribution & habitat

The tropical striped triplefin is widespread throughout the tropical and subtropical waters of the central Indo-Pacific, from the eastern coast of India, Sri Lanka included, to the Philippines and from south Japan to Solomon Islands.[1]>

This triplefin occurs in clear waters with moderate current from the surface down to 30 meters depth.[4][5] It is normally found perched on coral or other hard surfaces where it watches for drifting food.[6]

Biology

The tropical striped triplefin lives in small group and feeds on zooplankton.[4]

Conservation status

The species is targeted but not thought to be threatened by the aquarium trade. It is listed as Least Concern (LC) on the UICN.[1]

Distribución y hábitat

Esta especie está ampliamente distribuida en el Pacífico occidental, desde las aguas costeras de Japón[2]​ y Filipinas[3]​ hasta Australia y las islas Salomón.[4]​ Habita las aguas de los arrecifes de coral con corrientes moderadas, vagando entre las esponjas y corales, hasta los 20 m de profundidad.[5][4]

Descripción

Tiene un cuerpo alargado con grandes ojos y la boca con labios gruesos. En la parte posterior presenta dos aletas dorsales separadas, precedida por tres rayos fuertes y cortos. Aleta caudal en forma de delta; las aletas pectorales son largas y radiada; las aletas ventrales son filiformes y cortas; la aleta anal es baja y alargada. La parte posterior y dos tercios de los lados son de color rojo oscuro, entremezclado con tres líneas finas vivamente blancas y a veces puntos del mismo color. La parte final de la cola es transparente con de tonos rojizos. Todas las aletas tienen rayos rosadas. La parte inferior del cuerpo es de color rosado. Alcanza una longitud máxima de 4,2 cm y presenta entre 35 y 37 vértebras.[4]

Alimentación

Se nutre de invertebrados de zooplancton.[6][4]

Depredadores

Es presa del pez Fistularia commersonii.[7]

Acuariofilia

Es comercializado para su reproducción en acuarios de aguas salada.

Helcogramma striata , communément nommé triptérygion strié[2], est un poisson osseux de petite taille de la famille des Tripterygiidae natif de la zone centrale du bassin Indo-Pacifique.

Description

Le triptérygion strié est un poisson de petite taille qui peut atteindre une longueur maximale de 4 cm pour les mâles[2],[3].

Le corps est fin, de section plus ou moins cylindrique et relativement allongé, sa bouche est terminale.

La partie ventrale de ce poisson est blanchâtre. Le reste du corps est rouge brique avec deux lignes longitudinales blanches et quelques points blancs entre les yeux. Les nageoires sont translucides. Son œil est relativement gros et son iris est orangé.

Distribution & habitat

Le triptérygion strié est présent dans les eaux tropicales et subtropicales du centre du bassin Indo-Pacifique soit de l'Inde orientale et Sri Lanka aux Philippines ainsi que du sud du Japon aux Îles Salomon[4].

Il apprécie les eaux claires avec peu de courant et ce de la surface à trente mètres de profondeur[5],[6]. Il est souvent observé sur des substrats durs comme des coraux, des roches, des éponges[2]...

Biologie

Le triptérygion strié vit en petits groupes et se nourrit de zooplancton[5].

Statut de conservation

L'espèce ne fait face à aucune menace importante en dehors de la collecte pour le marché de l’aquariophilie, elle est toutefois classée en "préoccupation mineure"(LC) par l'UICN[4].

Distribuzione e habitat

Questa specie è diffusa nell'Oceano Pacifico occidentale, lungo le acque costiere dal Giappone all'Australia. Abita le acque delle barriere coralline con correnti moderate, dove si aggira tra spugne e coralli.

Descrizione

Presenta un corpo allungato, con occhi grandi e bocca provvista di labbra carnose. Sul dorso sono presenti due pinne dorsali separate, precedute da 3 robusti e corti raggi. La pinna caudale è a delta, le pettorali sono allungate e a lancia, le ventrali sono corte e filiformi, la pinna anale è bassa e allungata. La livrea è inconfondibile: il dorso e 2/3 dei fianchi sono rosso cupo, interrotti da 3 sottili linee bianco vivo e a volte puntinato dello stesso colore. L'ultima parte rossa sfuma nella coda, altrimenti trasparente. Tutte le pinne hanno i raggi rosati. La parte inferiore del corpo è rosata. Raggiunge una lunghezza massima di 4,2 cm.

Alimentazione

Questa specie si nutre di invertebrati.

Predatori

È preda abituale di Fistularia commersonii.

Acquariofilia

H. striata è commercializzata per l'allevamento in acquari marini.

本魚喜棲息於海綿石珊瑚上,以胸鰭支撐魚體,性情膽小,易受驚嚇,屬雜食性,以藻類及小型無脊椎動物為食。

可做為觀賞魚。
